How is the sand which you purchase. Also can you share the number for trichy sand person.
As I am buying the same for 22K.

I'm getting trichy sand for 26K for 500 Units ( Roughly its 17 JCB buckets, thats what I heard from my dealer) 10 wheeler by day after tomorrow. I need to check the quality of the soil.

Got good equally sized 20mm Jelly with black in color for 23 Rs per Unit. Its around 484 Units I paid 11K.

Can you translate the units into CFT & check the price difference you pay??? for 11K @ 22/ CFT, you should have got 500 CFT. This can also be verified by the storage mesaurement in the tipper.

I bought Chamundi steel yesterday for roofing @ Rs 47800 /ton including delivery. PrimeGold was quoted at Rs 48500/ton.

Sand - Good price
Wood - Though log, not sure if the price is correct....if it is burma teak, the price should have been higher. If it is Arfican teak, you could have paid the right price.

It is in fact Burma teak and Rs. 2450/cft includes cutting+flaming+making groove+tax. My uncle took me to this dealer whom he knows from a long time, hence the above price. We should be able to get good Burma teak log at around Rs. 2600(what I had inquired with other dealers).
