I am wondering if I should buy speaker wires and get them layed ( as I am getting electric wiring done for the new home)
or should I consider getting a music system with wireless speaker .
Your thoughts please - and cost factor involved.

Think about your requirement thoroughly considering the below points.
2) Do you have sufficient space at least 14 X 20 space for your Living or Entertainment Room ?
For lesser sized areas, you may not get better performance from conventional Home Theatre Systems which just makes loud noise.
You may need to go for very high end systems like ..Bose, Onkyo, Harman, Denon...etc .
2) Whether you need just a Stereo or 5.1 Channel or 7.1 Channel Home Theatre System. Based on this you need to buy the quantity
of wire according to the size of the entertainment area.
3) You can also consider Wireless based Home Theatre Systems, so that you can get rid of conventional wirings.
4) There are new Series of Home Theatre Systems called "Sound Bars" are in market which just contains 1 hanging Unit and a Sub-Woofer, which you can keep
Below/near the Flat TV or to the audio Video Unit itself, It doesn't need any separate Cabling .

Hi chandu
Plan for wire routing now ,you can pull wire later stage when ever you decide on the home theater system.Wire less speakers do need a power supply near buy so you end up running for power plug even later.
You can leave 1/2" conduit with GI wire in side ,so you can just pull audio wire later easily.
