Hi Friends,

After some research on this forum and elsewhere I have decided to go for carpenter for the interior wood works. Now, I am looking for a skilled and reliable carpenter who can make modular kitchen cabinets and Bedroom wardrobes. Also I would like to get an idea of the labor charges for different kinds of work. If possible please attach some of the work done by the carpenter.

He's very reliable, skilled and understanding guy. I had recently done my work including modular kitchen and wardrobes done by him. One good thing about him is that he's very honest and listens to you patiently. He's on-time on his work. You can quote my name as Phani if required.

@Phani - I called up babu as i have some interiors like TV wall unit and a double cot to be done. But he is saying that he is having work for the entire 1 month and can come only after that to which i agreed and told him to just show me some designs for now so that i could finalize by that time. After some initial hesitation he agreed to come to my home, but never turned up!!

I waited for the entire day cancelling my other works for him.. If he was really not interested then he could hav told me tht right?? This shows that nowadays we are at the mercy of these so called skilled labourers!!

My carpenters are good. I can provide the name and numbers if you want. But currently they are working at my place. Will be available only after 1.5 months

You can contact Mr.Prakash(9845225460).He did TV Unit,Loft in master bedroom a month back in Surya city,Chandapura.His workmanship is good.Now he is doing small Kitchen unit,shoe rack and other small works for me.If complexity is there he will charge Rs.200 per sft(Laminate on both sides) and Rs.180(Non complex works like bedroom wardrobes - both side laminate).

I got wood work in my flat done by a carpenter named Guddu. I highly recommend him as i found his
