finally decided to go with Zicom wired security alarm system. primarily because, wired sensors are much cheaper (rs.500 for door sensor compared to rs.2000 for wireless one) also was not sure of wireless signal level as I have 3 floors to cover.

Hi Dev - Can you pl give details about your security system and the vendor? I'm looking for video door phone, 2 motion sensors and 5 magnetic sensor as part of the instrution system aong with Hooter.

Please note that I have not yet installed, so I am not yet real user, hence dont be compelled to base your decision on mine.
my opinion on zicom is so far only based on finger print door lock i used for last 5 years, a good product.
