Hi,Though I am not a electrical expert guy ,I expect the company to put the basic technology they r using in these fan .other wise just claiming they r super fans is not very impressive.
I request people who bought them ,test it on UPC continuously till your ups drains or check for percentage of back up left at frequent intervals .
Repeat the same with normal fan and give results to forum.
It would be very helpful to other members

Re: Fans that consume 50% less electricity
Hi ArdesArchitect,
I purchased 7 fans for my home. It is about 1 year - I am happy with the fans.
Yes, these fans do consume far less power (my UPS NEVER ran out of charge with superfan but older fans would last about 3-4hrs - multiple fans, 110AH, 875VA). Though I have not made a scientific study, I believe the claims are true. The company also has demonstrated the power consumption in a video. Moreover Electronics engineers will accept the claims once we know BLDC motors are in use and not AC motors to drive the fan.
Also , other Bonuses:
1) The fans do not change "sound" when running on UPS which is a big relief.
2) Remote control is another plus point.
3) Eco-friendly packaging
The only complaint I have is that the LED stays on when the fan is off (wall powerswitch on, remote off)

Re: Fans that consume 50% less electricity
A study from bijilibachao website was done to find the 10 most efficient fans in India and SuperFan has come first in their tests!
Way to go SuperFans! Here is the link for the same.
https://www.bijlibachao.com/top-ten-app ... ption.html
Please click on "Click To Expand: Sweep: 1200mm" link to see the complete list of fans. SuperFans at 35W is followed by Usha Technix at 43W at second place.
BTW, this bijilibachao web site (https://www.bijlibachao.com) has got lot of useful information on lights, fans, and other electrical appliances to save electricity by choosing the appliances wisely.
