Video Door Entry System

Hi All,

Im constructing a GF + 3F in a 30 X 40 plot for the own Use. Access for all the floors is from inside & GF has just a master bedroom. Planning to install the video door entry system so that i can view & talk to the person through the console mounted in First floor & also provision to be given to unlock the door from the same console instead of walking down to gf to unlock.

Pl. let me know the reliable brand in the market from whom in can buy this product, service is also an important aspect.

Pl. share your experience if you have faced any problems after installation.

Opening the door remotely is only possible with automation locks like Yale / Samsung etc.But for this you need a automation controller and wifi setup .
You have option of wired magnetic lock but its not a proper lock (the one you see for ATM centers
Video door phone is better option to know who is at the main door but there is no option for door opening unless you go for automation.

Yeah you are rite,i need to go with an automation solution for the above requirement. I have decide to go with Yale Locking system integreated with Video door phone. Both option are available wired as well wireless, im going with unlocking the door through remote which works on RFID.

Basic model of Yale with with video door phone setup & integration will cost approx 45K. Still the house is in construction phase will post the details once its completely installed.
