Hi All,
Needed some inputs regarding the floor.
If cost is not a constraint, what is considered best for flooring in Living Room ?
I have read at many places that marble is hard in maintenance with absorbtion of Stains etc.,
Does it make it any better to have Italian Marble instead of Indian marble in terms of maintenance?
Also, how to ensure that the Italian Marble is genuinely Italian marble and not otherwise
Thanks for all your inputs,
Regards,

Re: Marble Vs. Granite
Hi h1 query
If cost is not the constrain ,then go for Italian marble. You can make the differences between Indian and pure Italian very easily.
*In Indian you get most commonly white ,green, pink etc.....and the feel is completely different
*In Italian you get all kind of English colors beige, light browns, half whites etc.......
*Italian marbles are always in gang saw sizes(6*8 and more) ,they don't come in cut sizes
*Thickness is very constant of 20mm or lesser, you don't get 40mm in Italian.
*You can see a backing net stick to it with glue only for italian marble .
