Hi,
Can anyone suggest how much HP pump should I go for to pump water 50 feet high( actual height 45 feet) the depth of sump is 12 feet.
What are the good and economic brands of submersible pumps ?

I think for 50 feet you need atleast 1 HP (a lot depends on the bends and curves in the pipe) Single phase.. 3 phase might be helpful if there are plans for expansion
Re: Suggest Submersible pump
I was recommended Texmo Acqua ASM SP 625 1HP for open submersible, by the retailer with whom we purchased Borewell Motor. The Head Range and Discharge Rate are good.

Re: Suggest Submersible pump
One important question is submersible pump better than exposed monoblock pump for sump tank.
The sump is 12 feet deep and lift required is 40 feet. The pipe is 1 inch and there will be will be 6 bends.

Issues with Monoblock:
1. Airlock
2. Noise is high
3. Bearings wear out
4. Low Water Output
Cost-wise Monoblock is cheaper.
You can check
Texmo AQUAGOLD-4
1HP
Total Head M (Ft): 48 (150)
Maximum Discharge LPH: 4000 Ltrs
Discharge LPM @ 15M (40Ft): 60Ltrs
