I have a plot measuring 40 x 120 (4800 sq. ft.) In KARNASREE LAYOUT, MEDAHALLI, BENGALURU, KARNATAKA 560 049. Its located on OLD MADRAS ROAD.

Nearest landmark: Srinivasa Layout Welfare Society & Vibrant Sunrise Apartment

I plan to build a G+4 building with Apartments of 1 BHK & 2 BHK,

This particular project with have 24x7 Electricity using SOLAR n WIND RENEWABLE ENERGY. Plus water from BORE-WELL and plan to have rain water harvesting too.

I need your valuable suggestion on how to go around this project. I am new to Bangalore, If you can share with me few details regarding how to go about the project. I plan to do it myself.

Hi..Sir
You have come right forum to understand most of the things related to construction.Even though i am a construction professional I have learnt many things form this forum.
I suggest you to spend a quiet sometime on the inventory of materials/professionals/planning/design before you start off on ground.because its quiet a big project and you need to be aware of lot of things begining form sanctioning to occupancy certificate.
Also you can check this forums archive posts to get a fair idea.

Constructing a building is a time consuming activity requiring good knowledge and source base and cause huge losses if not done correctly.(xxxxxx.ixis a full fledged provider of the same).
You need to get your resources right.
Get your design right in the first place followed with floor plans and concerned sanctions
Plan your team basically your architect, structural consultant, electrical/plumbing consultant
Civil contractor (Most tedious decision), Not to forget the shuttering/centering and bar bending team (Major necessity for any structure)
A bore well needs to be drilled after identifying the proper spot. where you can get abundance water.
Start in steps with
• Earthworks, footing works with proper shuttering and barbending works ( As your structure is completely dependent on shape and strength ( Any mistake here will be a trauma )
• Backfilling,
• Civil works with shuttering and barbending team
• Start with electric and plumbing works ( Plan it during the structure progress )
• Carpentery ( Doors and window frames )
• Plan with aluminium/UPVC windows as per your requirement.
With the above your structure is ready and you can decide on the cosmetics according to your taste and needs.
