Contacts for getting BDA Plan apporval

Post by Madhusudhan Joshi »

Hello All,

Can you share me any contacts who can get the BDA plan approval done and alos kindly let me know the approximate costing for the same.

The plot is in SMV layout, Block 6.
Should the following list of document suffice for plan approval
-- Construction Plan Schematic
-- Up-to-date EC
-- BDA Khata
-- Up-to-date Tax paid Reciept

Hi Aruthl,

Thanks for your suggestions :-)
I went through most of the threads related to plan approval, they mention only to the process around it and the amount that was spent on the process along with the number of days.
My request is more specific , that is I am looking for "real" contacts to get a plan approval for a site in SMV Layout 6th Block.

Hope you understand and thanks once again.

Hi Joshi,

Just walk into the BDA office within your locality wherein the plan approval is done and meet the guy who does online plan data upload & approval, he will be the best person to link you to the 'contacts' and this works quickly rather than looking for agents who operate.

Joshi,

You need to visit Vijayanagar BDA office. There are specific persons assigned to respective blocks of SMV lyt for the building plan approval. You need to meet the one for your block. This is a direct approach to deal with BDA officials, which will save you some money. The cost is dependent on the estimated cost of construction of your house. So, it is difficult to tell how much would it cost in your case. Again, the same BDA officials will be able to tell you about the cost of approval.

If you are looking for some agency to do this, they will charge additional fees for this, (approx 10K). This does not mean that the agency will do everything and you have to do nothing. You will still need to get involved and visit BDA office, provide documents etc.

So, in my view contacting BDA officials directly is worth it than going through some agency.

Vajra
