Dear Members;

For one week i am noticing my newly built sump (8000L) ( approx. size: 10feet x 5feetx 7feet) is having leakage. Though the sump was built at early stage of construction, for more than year it did not leak but now i am noticing water level comes down on its own though water is not being used from sump for any activities.

Please suggest what is the solution and who can do the work. Any contact info is welcome. It is built using red bricks with mesh.

Looking forward to useful reply.

There may be settlement of soil in around soil then possiblity of development of cracks between wall and sump floor . Kindly check by empty the water .repair the cracks by grouting or built the sump with rcc not mesh. But the sump quantity will be less
