I had selected 10x15 tiles for my bathroom. The tiles came in a quantity of 8 tiles per box. As per the calculated area, it comes out to around 8.33 sqft per box. However, the dealer claims that the company charges for 9 sqft per box and has charged me accordingly. This has increased my price by around 8% over what I anticipated.
Is this practice correct or is the guy taking me for a ride? If it is the latter, I definitely know where I will not be buying the tiles for my other areas from.

Re: Tiles sqft area mismatch
Hi,
No company bills for round figured total sft .it is charged exactly as per sft .if the tile is not per sft but per peice billed then its a different scenario.per peice is generally billed for highlighter tiles .
