Highpressure laminates from Fundermax and Century ply are durable and weather resistant and are riveted to the channels erected on the facade . Thats why the cost goes up. workmanship is all about erecting the channels and creating a proper rain facade using recommended hardware. This costs around 600.
Shera Cement fiber board comes in 6 inch sections that are screwed directly to plastered wall. This comes in white and is textured .Basic cost is 65/Sqft and with PU coating and labor it comes to around 160/psft , Scaffolding charges extra. This is fairly durable and exists in market for quite some years. However it needs to be repainted after few years .
Wood Plastic Composite cladding panels are also available with wood textures and colors , these are fitted just like Shera planks , however these need not be painted and is weather proof. The cost comes to same as Shera Planks .
All the above are substitutes to wood cladding. Gives a good appearance and are durable.

Hello Nivas and other experts in the forum,
Any recommendations where we can get Wood Plastic Composite cladding? If they cost same as Shera Planks, they are good alternative compared to other options like FRP, HPL..
Thanks,

WPC cost is between Cement fiber planks and HPL . It addresses the cons of Cement fiber planks and HPL's.
WPC cost varies , you get full solid extrusion or hollow . Hollow ones are cheaper . Cost also depends on wood flour to Polymer ratio.
These WPC slats can be screwed to plastered surface. No need to paint.
Below are rates for full solid WPC extrusions.
8mm thick 6" around 280 sqft
15 mm thick 3.5 " width around 130 to 180 per Running Ft.

Thank you.. Where can we get that? Is there anyone who can do the installation as well?
I was told by a company called anjaneya which make WPC (
http://anjaneya.co.in/wpc-gallery.php) that installed cost is Rs. 435 for wall cladding. We have about 275 square feet to cover. Looking at Birla Textura, granite (Rs. 200 for Rs. 125 sft granite), WPC. FRP seems to be expensive at Rs. 625 sft.
