Hi all,

I need some help to get estimation (only bill of quantities) done for one of our friend house. If anybody has any reference or if anybody in group want to do, please let me know. I will provide complete details of drawings (architectural and structural) and specification.

Why do you need a bill of quantities for a completed house .
There are two types of Boq
1. For estimation and quotations purpose
2. For contractor to claim work done .
With dwgs it can be only done for type-1 ,for type - 2 it can only be done with actual mesurements of the building .Few items that are buried under can only be estimates by strictrual dwgs

A proffessional estimator charges 1.5 - 2% of the total cost of the estimate based on the type and purpose for which it is needed .If you are looking for some.legal purpose then you need a certified estimator .
