MS grill rates for utility area

I need to put MS grill in the utility area, total area around 300 sq.ft

I received a quote for the same:
9mm square rods
4" spacing
Rs.130 per sq.ft

Does this seem reasonable ?

What would be the rate for grill with 10mm rods ?

That's reasonable rate for a 4/4 safety grill. However you can bargain till 120 rs/sft.

actually, the price of the material is only 30 percent of the overall cost of grill work. so you can easily bargain for 10mm rods at the same price.

You can bargain, i am doing my grill work for Rs 120/sq feet. 11 mm rods.

My suggestion would be to provide materials and ask for Labour rate (which would be Rs.60/Sq.ft). Always go for Bright steels (square or Hexagonal) although cost would be more but it would be value for money.
