Sadharahalli flooring

Post by sholla »

Hi,

I had completed (to some extent) the construction of a duplex
house in 30x40 an year ago and then moved into it.
I had left the ground floor vacant as parking and utility space.
Half of the parking area is covered with 1x1 tiles. For the
remaing area I am thinking of using sadharahalli slabs
as I have about 150 sq.ft of these slabs left over.

Are there any issues with sadharahalli granite flooring
for utility space ?

Our house is in the Vijaya bank layout/off bannerghatta rd.
If you know any granite layer who can take up such work please
PM me.

Thanks
sholla

Sadarahalli granite comes in 2 types. Rough finish (used in bathrooms) and smooth finish. If it is smooth, then it gets slippery when wet.

The ones I have are of smooth finish. Would they be less durable than the parking tiles ?
I had seen many sadarahalli floor coverings ending up with small small holes (pits),
may be because they are exposed ?
