Borewell re-drilling suggestion needed.

Hi,
We have a borewell which was dug for around 800 ft earlier and while removing for borewell repair, the mud closed down to 300ft. So we had to put the borewell motor upto 300 ft only. We are fully dependent on borewell water for all needs and now we are getting water only for 5 minutes and water stops. We have to ON the motor after around 4 to 5 hours to again get 5 minutes of borewell water.
Hence, i've few queries which i would like to get enlightened with:
1. Do i need to re-drill again till 800 feet which we have previously dug.
2. Do we need to bring in a 30 feet borewell digger for re-drilling or a small 10 feet or so driller is enough for re-drilling? , i'm asking this because we have a roof of the first floor extended/covered on the borewell dug place.
3. For re-drilling, do i need to pay the regular amount for drilling?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Ramki
