Hi All,

In a week's time, the first roof is going to get casted for my house. Is there any thing that needs to be planned wrt what needs to be connected from the roof.
The points I have considered are

1. Electrical ducts which can run through the roof to minimize the grooving in the wall. this would save on labour
2. Hooks for chandalier, fans, ullale (swing)
3. Lighting points for atta

Is there anything else that needs to be considered before hand ?

Mostly lighting points and electrical ducts to make sure you don't miss out anything.

If you don't want TV cable/DTH wires hanging from outside, you could have electrician leave a pipe that goes vertically all the way from ground floor roof and raises again it at next roof.

Thanks Girish

Yes, Have taken care of this as well. Have ensured that pipes are different for telephone , cable, home security , power so that there is no issue with interference.

Also it would be be better to decide on the UPS location, so the piping can be laid for this as well.
