Height to place wall mount tap from counter slab

what is the recommended height to place a wall mounted water tap (sink) from kitchen counter slab? in other words, how many inches higher than the kitchen counter slab should one place a wall mounted water tap?

@tendlu,
We are going for all wall mounted faucets in bathrooms. From Grohe technician I confirmed that it has be around 6-7 inches above the rim of the sink bowl. This is for bathrooms though. You might want to check withe company you are buying faucets.
Couple of things to note:
1. Make sure that plumber fixes the concealed part such that the faucet is aligned to center of sink drain hole.
2. There will be some amount of water backsplash on to the wall - so make sure its tiled properly to avoid damage to wall
