A contractor I know is quoting 1850 per sqft
- vitrified tiles
- tata steel
- RCC sump
- ACC cement
- 8" and 6" blocks(external and internal walls)
- robosand
- Front door teak wood
- Red sal wood for windows and other doors
- All other normal batchroom and electric fittings
I feel this is bit on higher side. Please let me know your feed back and also suggest me any good contractor.
Also is it a good idea to give itemized contract instead of bulk contract?

Re: Civil contractor
Dont just go by price..
Bulk or itemized contract depends on how ethical and trustworthy your contractor is
Itemized contract: that bugger will purposely do more than what is necessary.
Bulk contract: he has got tricks up his sleeve to fleece you. Like decreasing the height of the walls to 9 feet, no parapet wall on the roof,
ask for each and every detail of what he is going to provide you till the last screw, bolt, specs..
Most of these guys are unprofessional and will try to fleece at every opportunity.
