Dear members,
What is the typical size of RWH pit for 30x40 size plot house. I am planning to use rain water only ground recharge. In such case, is there any serious effect on footings due to dampness of soil¿

Size of ground water recharge pit is 6 to 8 rings(Round) layed down up to 8 feet depth. The pit should be atleast 6ft from the columns.

Thanks rajeshkp. Even If we maintain 6 feet distance from column, footings may get damped due to water seepage. In future, Will it create any problem for building foundation?
