Guys,
anybody explored using Underwater DC operated LED lights in the sump, i feel this would be helpful when the sump is in with very less lighting.

Any thoughts.

I'm not clear about the objective of Lighting inside the Sump ??. In all cases, frequency of usage of lights makes importance.
I assume you meant for better visibility during the sump cleaning ?

Both AC supplied regular Light or DC Supplied LED lighting can be installed. But Water proof installation is required and
it needs regular preventive maintenance. Using Regular AC supply Light is bit risky in water area unless you have solid
precautions with emergency controls. Even underwater LED Light using a DC Supply may also need similar precautions to
safeguard the AC/DC Adapter.

People need better visibility mainly during sump cleaning which is mostly twice a year.
For simple and safer solution, torch can be used.
