Granite laying charges(labour only)

Can somebody share the prevailing labour rates for granite laying ? Reading some of the messages in this forum, it looks like rates are different rooms/hall etc when compared to parking, stairs etc. Can you share the break-up of rates based on location.

Hi,
The laying charges will vary from contractor to contractor. Currently i have fixed up following charges with my contractor(Only Labour).
Big slab(Gangsaw) - 30 rs /sqft
Small Slab(Cut piece) -24 rs /sqft
Half nose -36 Rs/Running feet
Full nose -63 Rs / RFT
Skirting -30 rs for Big slab and 24 rs for small slab.
40MM sand wich for Staircase -160 rs /RFT
Wall tiles - 30 rs/Sqft.
Bathroom tiles.
1X1.5 size - 15 rs/Sqft
1X2 size - 18 rs/sqft.

My granite laying person is charging for skerting laying charges Rs.22 and half nosing Rs.25. Total together Rs.47/RFT as a labour charge. Is it the right way to calculate or altogether Rs.25 /RFT is correct one?

there are different ways to do it I guess...with water nosing and w/o water nosing. Rates do change accordingly. Good idea to check on that..
