Terrace Tile input required

Hi Fellow Forumaites!
I have a small terrace (230 sq ft) on first floor as open balcony exposed to rain/sun.
I am planning to lay the tiles there. Contractor suggested to go for clay tiles. Whereas tile show room person told me to go for parking tiles. As per the tiles vendor, parking tiles have following advantage and clay tiles have following disadvantage:
1. Acid wash is possible if it gets dirty over a period of time
2. If I put flower pots, that will not cause damage to the tiles.
3. It will not develop cracks exposed to sun over long period since the tiles are treated at 1200 degree heat.
4. Clay tiles tend to get damaged.
5. Clay tiles tend to get fungus over a period of time.
Please suggest:
What will be better if I put flower pots later Will it cause water seepage? How is heat resistance for both tiles.
Regards,
Nag
