hi,
I checked Indian marble prices at Jainco white shades and pista shades they call indian velvo. are priced range of 115 to 165 psft. Its that fine, Italian as usual 310 and abv . the lower ones have lots of minor scratches like they say they will chemical fill that.
Also Egyptian ones seems to come in yellow shades.. which seems to be 260/-
Also checked the granites.. mostly in dark shades.. only imperial white which is also in range of 200/- Any info on the above. and any prior experience.

Hi naveen,
Can you explain "low quality grade" ? Does it mean the finish is not good or is the quality not good (cracks, wear/tear after some time). Also 115 to 165 per sqft seems a little less for marble (I guess the rate of granite, vitrified tiles is in similar range).

I read in some older threads that there is not much choice of colors/patterns in granite. Also, the lighter shade granite stone may not be as sturdy as the darker shade ones. Vitirified tiles maybe another option. These days there are double-charge vitrified tiles, nano-charged vitrified tiles, digitally printed vitrified tiles. They have lot of colors/patterns like Italian marble, wood finish and many more. You can check Kajaria or RAK websites. The digital printing on tiles has been introduced recently.

Hi
Nothing can beat Italian marble, its lasts long, even after 10years a polish can give u back the look, but granite its ruled out to polish.
But the tiles r coming with lots of variety, but how long it will stay, even the manufacturers can't say, , because its all just 2years old.so its in b/w marble and tiles.
I prefer Marble. Any comments plz ....

I saw different types of vitrified tiles : Double-charge vitrified tiles, nano-charged and digital print vitrified tiles . With digial prints, we get all shades and textures like italian marble, wood texture and huge number of choices. However, I saw that scrathes can be seen on these tiles. Can they be polshed or renovated after some years ? There are both locally made tiles and branded tiles like Kajaria, NITCO, RAK etc.
