Laying ceramic tiles inside sump - need inputs

Hi,
underground sump at my site is at the verge of completion and I am trying to decide if I have to lay ceramic tiles inside sump, all 5 sides. I checked the ceramic tiles of different brands (Orient, Vision etc, also Kajaria tiles), for around 250 sqft (approx 9K Liter sump) I would need 28 boxes of tiles.
However, I don't know what are the advantages of laying tiles, cant think of anything apart from good looks and may be easy maintenance.
Any suggestions please?
