Stainless steel doors with Wooden finish and look

Hi

Am constructing my home and got to know of stainless steel doors with wooden finishing. (http://www.arishtha.in/virtualgallery.html)
These seem to be cost effective and look good too with a wooden touch and feel.

Has anyone used them and if yes, are there any cons or disadvantages to it? Any reason not to use them w.r.t vaasthu, weight or any other cons?
Any advise will be helpful.

Thanks for posting info on this innovative product. From what I have seen in their website, it looks like a good alternative to the conventional wood doors and frames. Also they are stronger and eco-friendly. I think we should promote use of such Green products.

The list of their clientele is also impressive - Lanco, Raheja, DB Reality, Phoenix, Mantri, DLF, Reddy Labs, Aurobindo Pharma, L & T and Nestle.

Please do the due deligence of speaking to existing customers of this product and based on their positive feedback, you may go for it. Please update this forum on your interactions, if any, with them.

Thanks for the responses.
I had called them this weekend and the price quoted was Rs 17,000 for a 46mm embossed door with 3 hinges and frame.
The doors are customizable to ones needs and cost varies accordingly.

Once again, anyone out there who's used these or know of any disadvantages? Please advise.

Please note that the material is Galvanized Iron, not stainless steel. SS doors come with SS finish , wood finish is not possible. I was told the "wood finish" is PU paint coat (polyurethane)
