Double Height Living Room

Hi,

In my house plan, I have a double height roofed living room. Does contractors needs to quote lesser for this area as there will be no roof at single height?

Does anyone else faced this type of situation? How I should be negotiating with contractor? Also, does the same logic apply for car garauge too?

I have given labour contract. My contractor is NOT charging for the open area.

That makes perfect sense sreekbda. I will talk to my contractor about it, I am in contract signing phase now, to be finalized this week and then boom it starts!
