Sink outlet to wall or ground

Hi All,
Wanted input on , ideally where should the hand wash sink outlet go into wall or ground.(adv V disadv)
I am planning to mount sing on a 4.5-inch wall , can the outlet pipe go into wall ?

Take it stright done to the ground. use P trap wash basin connection than bottle trap. avoid as many bend as possible.

@ saisurakhsa, I can understand that all points of discharge into a drainage system should
be fitted with a trap (e.g. a water seal trap) to prevent foul air from the system entering into the building.
My opinion is that bottle traps should not emit foul smell and additionally trap the dust avoiding the chokes in the pipes, but most models of bottle traps does the trapping and emits foul smell. To avoid smell and trap the waste; are there any better traps around? the P traps and U bends does the prevention of foul air but doesn't help in avoiding chokes !!

Current Bottle trap models will hold only 15 mm level of water so we get foul smell for that reason only i have asked to go for P traps which will hold at least 50 mm of water level and this will definitely control the foul smell. Regarding the chokes We should have provision at the cambers to collect and clean at your convenient. i am not a expert but this is the thought i have in my mind.
In industry i dont think we have any better traps available if you know some thing let me know.
