I am constructing a home with a basement of about 1000 sft that i intend to use for car parking and also occasionally for small functions. What are the cost effective as well as nice options for flooring? Have anyone done the following
1. Polished concrete
2. Concrete with epoxy paint
3. Tile options
4. Granite options
Thanks,
Venkat

HAs anyone gone for concrete flooring or polished concrete flooring? Is this also similar to RED OXIDE flooring?

@Venkatm,
If you indeed want to use it for car parking, better go with option where the flooring is not too smooth.
I am exploring couple of options - I don't know how to spell them as I have been shown these options but the stone guy who speaks Kannada and doesn't know how to pronounce them
1. Flamed granite stone: Slightly rough.
2. Kabul stone: This is even more rough. I am planning to use this for ramp with cut sizes of 5"x5" with grooves.
