What does an AEH point mean (electrical)?

This may be a naive question - what does an AEH point mean (for electrical? what is it used for?
AEH = All Electric Home
in the olden days, electrical connections were of very low capacity (probably 1000W?) So it is impossible to run a geyser and microwave at the same time. So there were some newer "AEH" homes that could have a 1500W electric water heater / geyser
Nowadays, I think the supply is 3kW (or maybe 5kW) Hence multiple electrical gadgets can run simultaneously. The AEH name is somewhat meaningless nowadays
There are two types of sockets - 5A (smaller) or 15A (bigger)
