what is the recommended flooring option for an external staircase? i am looking for something that has low maintenance overhead.

any suggestions for external staircase flooring with pros and cons? like vitrified, ceramic, sadarhalli granite or anything else?

tandoor is a material? -- sorry, i haven't heard of this before.

its a Hard Stone same as kadapa if u search in any granite sink shop u can find it , even Kota stone is much better but bit costly , u ll get @ 45 to 50 Rs Max /Sft

based on different threads seems like the options are:

a) kota stone
b) jaisalmer
c) tandur
d) granite
e) anything else?

can someone throw some light on what would be the cost for the above options? material and laying rates? as always pros & cons welcome.

kota, jaisalmer should be around 50. tandur is 25 per sft. But, rate varies based on finish. If it is regular polish on one side and natural on the other its 25. for leather finish, it can cost 45.

charges for granite tiles starts from 85 rs and laying charges for granite tiles starts from 30 rs
