Recent Borewell charges.

Hi All,

I am planning to go for a Borewell at our site in HRS layout. Can anyone please provide the details of a good driller and the recent rates?

I have so far enquired with Kannan borewells and they say they wont go below 850ft. Recently one of our neighbours got water at 1000ft.

I am planning to get this done this week, so I kindly request the forum members to help me out with this.

The following is the rate at which I got my bore well dug.

000-250 ft 75
250-350 ft 85
350-450 ft 95
450-500 ft 105
500-600 ft 120
600-700 ft 135
700-800 ft 150
800-900 ft 170
900-1000 ft 190
M.S Casing Rs.350 per ft
PVC pipe Rs.350 per ft - We didn’t use as the rock was hard
Collar Rs.100 per collar
Welding Rs.100 per welding
Labour Rs.300 Lump sum
Transport Rs.300 Lump sum
Total collars =Total M.S.Casing pipe -1 ie if the total pipes are four, then there will be 3 collars.
Total welding =total No. of collers X2. Ie if three collars are used, the welding will be 6
Paid Rs.250- to the rig operator and Rs. 50- to each labour for tea.
For 533 ft I paid Rs.75000- as per the above rate. I got it done on March 8th. If you want I can PM the mobile No. of the firm.

Similar to pvr59ksl's information, we dug up a borewell at our house in the month of Dec'12 and the rates are just short by 4rs on the rates mentioned above.
Pretty professional and don't hound for unnecessary rewards even after the work was done.

I am planning to drill borewell in next couple weeks. I have received quotation from Kannan, Vinanayaka, Vijalakshmi. Last Monday, I used the service of Mr. Narayana, to check the borewell point by copper & Coconut methods. What he suggested is the point he recommended has only 3 streams whereas 4 is good to have and one can expect 1-.1.5 inch of water in depth of 500-1100 ft depth. Since, there is no Cauvery water supply in my layout, i m planning to drill borewell now.

The same Mr. Narayana, referred one borewell service provider -Sri Manjunath Borewell, propertier Mr. Manju (9880012360) who has office near Hosa Road, junction. Has anyone taken his service? Any recommendation The following are his quotation details which seems to more reasonable.

1 to 300 - 65 Rs
300 to 400 - 75
400 to 500 - 85
500 to 600- 100
600 to 700 -115
700 to 800- 135
800 to 900 - 165
900 to 1000- 205
1000 to 1100- 255

I dig borewell last month. I used his service (Manju). He quoted the same price.

I compared with other borewells as well. He is quoting reasonable. I went up to 800 feet and the total cost is around Rs.97000 including all.

I am also planning to drill a borewell & got the quote from Kannan, He has quoted aproox 1,35000 for 850 feet & after seeing the above post i enquired with Mr. Manjunath,. his quote looks reasonable approx 1.10000 for 850 feet, but mr mohan raj posts says Rs 97000 including all.
