What is the right way of connecting hot water from solar water heater and Geyser to shower mixer?
My plumber says he would connect the hot water line from solar heater to Geyser and then connect Geyser to Shower mixer. Is this correct ?

With this arrangement, Cold water from geyser has to be drained everytime to start receiving hot water from solar water heater.

How about having a master valve close to solar water output and then turning it off before going to bed and turning it on first thing in the morning ? Little inconvenience but solves the problem.
