Uploading House Plans in this forum.

Post by venkyn »

Hi,

On this forum, we can see many folks asking for house/floor plans so, to do space planing along with furniture/interiors it
would be nice to see the executed architecture plans. So, please upload your floor plans for the benefit of others.

So, i request admins to promote this idea for the benefit of knowledge

Regards,
Venky

Thanks Krish. Perhaps when folks ask for pictures, this will be a good one to use. So far, I had been emailing them.

Thanks, Krish! Just a suggestion here. Probably, as the menu is organized currently, it is easy for someone to mistakenly take "FAQ Gallery" as one word. If it is possible to provide a small graphic icon before the word "gallery" it might help.

Agree with Parkom, a quick look at the options - gives an impression that FAQ and Gallery is one item.

I also have a question, how do I upload plans. I wanted to upload some, but don't find the option for upload (I might be missing the obvious).
Answering my own question - for the benefit of others. Click on your name beside the "Your Albums" title. It will allow you to create an album and then upload pictures/files.

There is an eye icon that was uploaded for Gallery. Looks like there is some cache problem. I've removed old cache from server. Please try to clear offline content from your browser cache and try again.

One more update. We made Gallery as 'Members only' feature. So, the menu link will be visible only for registered users.

Hi all :D

I just saw some of the pictures in the Gallery. Since this forum is for the interaction of people intending to construct houses, it would be more appropriate if the uploaded photos are of houses, plans or anything connected with house construction. I believe uploading unconnected pictures would unnecessarily clutter the space.
