Whatz the current carpenter charges for wardrobe & modular kitchen

my kitchen is 14' x 14', we have base cabinets along 2 walls, and wall cabinets for about 20'. And since the wall height is quite high in India, we have cabinets over the regular 38" wall cabinets as well. There were wire baskets and shelves in mostly all the base cabinets, simple hardware. I was charged rs. 1.6 lakhs. I did not get the wardrobes made, but we have 2 walk in closets and 2 reach-in and a coat closet in the lobby area, for that the same carpenter quoted rs. 6 lakhs. I have to caveat that was the initial quote, perhaps, it would have worked out a little lower if we were interested and bargained for it. We went with wire shelves from Elfa and like how that looks (all my closets / wardrobes are full rooms with regular door, so I feel just getting nice shelves was sufficient). That came in under rs. 1.2 lakhs (including a shelf for my utility area as well, which was not part of the quote from the carpenter).
