Today I bought Red sal for window/door frames & (Teak & honne for Main door frames)
Planning to go with honne for shutters.
Before painting wood primer do I need paint with anti-termite or any other chemicals on wood which faces wall side (internal). Anyone highlight brand name for (pre-coat/Primer) need to be applied before fixing the door/window on the wall.

AVM Tar (Black) paint for the side facing the wall, Asian Wood primer for the rest of the portion.
Teak wood frames for the main door and pooja door were not painted. They were
covered with 4mm ply after fixing.

I am facing a termite problem in the house I am renting on the windows. I spoke to the owner and she says windows were treated with wood primer and then painted all sides. Even with that termites have penetrated through the joints. I strongly suggest to use anti termite (not sure where/what etc though).
