Granite Purchase

Post by Yogi »

Hi,
I am planning to buy granite slabs this week. I stay at Nagarabhavi. Which is the best place to purchase? Jigani or bannerghatta road. I have heard of shops near magadi road, but have not visited them yet. Can we get good granite near magadi road, since it seems to be closest to my location. Please suggest any good shops for purchase.

Jigani is the best place. If you want from Jigani, then you can pm me for the contact details. Recently, I had got the natural granites at a good price from a reputed facory.

Hi All,
I went to buy granite slabs to Jigani. My requirement was gangsaw slabs for my hall and dining and cutter size slabs for the rooms, kithcen and portico walls. I wanted the same color and pattern of both gangsaw and cutter slabs, but could not find a match of these both. I understand they cannot be exactly matching, since they will be from different rocks, but it was hard to find even a similar one. Does anyone know of any shop that sells the matching gangsaw and vertical slabs?? Appreciate if you all provide some contacts where I can look for my requirement.

Hi yogi,

Visit once RPG granite limited which is at bannerghatta road dairy cirlce. They are located at close to hosur road start, left hand side whenyou travel from dairy cicle and close to end of the road.
You can get granite that you are looking for. We have purchased verticle slabs and gang slabs here of same textures and quality.

We had a granite named as Black brick and Copper drops here.

Thanks Dreamhome, I have seen RPG and will go and look out for the slabs. What is the price by the way?? I am planning to buy gangsaw of Rs.150 and vertical of Rs.80. Will RPG provide slabs at this price or do they charge premium rates?

Please avoid RPG granite. My story is as follows. I visited their shop a few times before finalizing the gang slab that I was interested. Finally, negotiated the price with the director and decided to buy 20 gang slabs. My contractor and architect came along with me to inspect the slabs before buying. The first slab was great looking and the following slabs were not good. It had several unwanted black patches and we did not like them. The lot had around 40 slabs and the good ones (slab without black patches) were stacked from behind. We asked the director to sell us the slabs picking from behind (which are good looking and as same as the one that was shown in the front to attract customer) instead of slabs from the front. As the slabs were numbered we knew good slabs were stacked behind and they wanted to sell the not-so-good-looking slabs first. The director refused to sell us what we wanted. I walked away disappointed even though i was willing to ignore their unethical business practice of showing something good & selling something else. I just could not understand what kind of douchebags these guys are. Now the good part is I did not know there was something better in store for me. After a month, I found the same slab in jigani for much lesser price and better quality.
