Curing during plastering..

As per the pump vendor's advice I had put 2HP submersible pump.
One problem I have observed is that water comes out of the hose
pipe with a very high force and one has to struggle to hold the
pipe. There is no way one can use this to spray water for curing
during plastering. I can ask them to keep a plastic drum, fill it
and manually splash water, but I am afraid their interest will
"exponentially decay". Is there any other arrangement possible
that will make it easy for spraying water ?

Not matter how much force of water is, you still have curing done well.

Dont splash the water on wall instead keep the pipe edge and move along the wall. This will have the water run all thru wall and water is used for maximum.

I had a similar problem and here is the solution (Assuming that you are speaking abt sump and not borewell)

Add a T-joint to the water that comes out of the sump.
Add a gate valve to the T-joint. Other joint is connected to the pipe used for watering plastered walls.
Add a bend-pipe to the gate valve to release water back into sump.

Now you have a means to control the force of water coming out of the pipe by adjusting the gate valve.
Excess water will fall back into the sump and do not exert pressure on pump either.
