Hi Experts,

I have constructed a house in plot which was DC converted. During construction, BBMP was not issuing A Khatha to us. Now they have started to issue. How do I go forward from now? After getting Khatha, can I get plan approved for existing house?

I have heard that it can be done. You will have to pay betterment charges, the Khata fees and then get your khata. Only thing is that since your plan approval is out of sequence (meaning your house is built and then you are getting the approval), they may give you a hard time and ask for more money than actual fees for plan approval.

Please post any details you find out. I have seen others ask the same question on a couple of threads in the forum!

Bbmp will not give approval plan once the building is constructed.By they way why to you need approval plan now?

We would require a document right any instance saying that built house plan as been approved. So for documentation I thought it be required.

Are you sure,once we build the house and then have Khatah done as in my case there is no need of Plan approval?

Please suggest me to go forward. I dont like to be in BBMP office without much info, they will bring new rules and say something to fetch lot money from me.

Approval plan is required while construction happens later it is all about tax reciepts,khatta etc..Approval has only 2 years validity.May be you can try to get one b-door for future sale purpose.Get the khatta in to place first then go for approval plan copy.since your site has no khata as per Bbmp record your site should be vacant, so just apply for fresh sanction dwg (This is just a trial no sure about practicality )
