Hi All
I need to put 2 coarse of foundation to be built below the plinth beam, and masonary is asking this work as extra though 170 Rs per sq:for for internal roof to roof is negotiated.
1. My question does the earthing/foundation (2 coarse ) are normally part of contract. Share your experience?
2. If not included how much it cost as he is charging 5000 Rupees (as my builtup area is 33*35 = 1025) per one side. Means 1025 four side it would cost 20000 Rupess and this includes earthing/foundation building. Is this correct rate?
when i calculated it was very high ,as 5000/(35 * 1.5 * 1) = 95 Rupees which is coming very high. Please do let me know what i am doing it right?
Regards
Sam
Foundation cost
Re: Foundation cost
Sorry it is for 2 coarse to it would be 95/2 = 45 Rs per Cu:ft is what is comming?
When i calculated roughly the breakup (6 earthing + 20 (2 course stone with 10 Rs per stone) + 6 Rs (15% labour of total material cost) it should be around 32 rs ,
is my assumptions right?

Re: Foundation cost
Hi sam,
Any civil work with in the roof is all part of labour contract ,but then all these details need to be discussed with mason before contract signed.
I didn't really undestood your "5000/- per one side" .Either you pay him per cft including excavation and masonry (only labour). If you go by 2' down ( 2' deepth x 1' width x running length = volume in cft)This will give you the amount to be paid.
