Hi,
I am planning to do carving for the main door frame and heard that the carvings are done using CNC machine. How good is going for this machine carved doors and frames? What are the advantages and disadvantages of it compared to the hand carvings that are done.

Carvings done on cmc machine are good.The one important thing you should understand is about the depth of carving .In manual non uniform is the beauty ,cnc every piece looks exactly same.
Other than looks difference there is absolutely no difference .Make sure the cnc blades are in good condition so the finishing is better.
