Usually vitrifiled tiles has 300mm*300m size. But Nowadays vitrifiled tiles come with 600mm*600mm, 900mm*900mm sizes.
So Is it good have such big sizes in residential house instead of using granite/marbile?
How it looks? Please share your inputs.

Re: Large Size vitrifiled tiles for residential flooring
The main perceived difference or drawback (whatever one wants to call it) with Vitrified tiles when compared to Marble/granite is that the joints are not as thin or inconspicuous. As a result, dust settles on them and is difficult to clean. The more the joints (with smaller size tiles), the more of this issue. That's the reason the trend now-a-days is to go for bigger tiles in living and dining (or common) areas. Of course, there's no right or wrong here...it's just a matter of personal choice and affordability.

on the one hand - like OldWorldCharm said, you will have less joints and grout to deal with when you choose the large tiles. But be careful, if one tile cracks, the cracks tend to extend to the edge from point of origin to the edges of the tiles, so you will have a large crack.
I was told by many folks, that 2x2' is optimal size to select. As previously mentioned, choices are personal!
