BBMP Plan approval now manual?

Post by sansjunk »

Hello

I am in the process of getting my plan approval for a stilt + ground + 1st floor through a guy in BBMP. I was told by him that now the online submission is used only for 3 floors and above (mostly apartments) and in my case it has to be done manually. Following is what he is charging me:

Official: As per actual (will update once I get this figure)
Plan submission: 5000
Approval (office charges!): 10000
So total is (official fees + 15K)

My site area is 1500 sft and built up area is about 1700 sft (not including half areas).

Is the above reasonable? And is it really true that online submission is stopped for smaller houses?

Thanks!

For a 60 X 40 site with 39 square building; I was quoted 4 K drawing charges and 15 K unofficial charges. Awaiting the official charges.
