This topic might have been discussed already.. If so, I'm sorry to bring this up again..

My friends and I (4 together) are planning to buy a 60x40 site together, preferably in north bangalore and build a 4 floor house in it. We are all pretty young and do not know much about construction.. So please bear with me if my knowledge is pathetic..

I read in one of the sites that for a Building of that height ( about 18m I'm guessing) and average road conditions, we are supposed to leave 7 feet on all sides. That will leave us with effectively a 45x26 only for construction! I hope I'm missing something basic and am wrong here.. Experts, please tell me how this actually works..

Any guidance on any matter here will be very helpful..
If you feel something is wrong with my idea also, pls let me know..

I have 60x40(road facing 60).It is actually 2 30X40 sites combined.I want to construt houses for rental purposes.
can some one please share information regarding the building plan approvals.
