In BVK Iyenga r Road, every shop is a whole sale shop only like how the rice shops in all areas says they sell Rice/Wheat/Dal in whole sale rate at Retail Quantity.
But you need to have good quantity for bargaining the discount. Buying few nos(single digit) will not give any benefit for you when compare to the time and transport expenditure you spend to visit. Dealers are many times specific to certain Brands and few dealers deal with multiple Brand electrical items/accessories. Depending on the Brand and the dealer, you will get discount from 15% to 50% on MRP Price. Incase you don't want Tax Invoice, you save some more.

For Legrand you get upto 45% discount on MRP and for Crabtree upto 50%.
For Legrand, contact Ravindra Prasad whos is the Regional Sales manager, who can give you the distributor details
nearest to your location(Other than BVK iyengar Road). He can be reached at 98452 87143 or
ravindra.prasad@legrand.co.in.
This details is from my old registry. Not sure whether it is still active or not ?

I suggest, dont go by discount. Go by the quality. You may check out a brand 'M K Electric' for Switches. I guess it is costly but worth it. My brother deals with multiple brands of electrical items and he mentioned he hardly get any consumer complaints about this brand.

For good quality electrical accessories, use any of the reputed brands like ABB, Siemens, MK Electric(Honeywell), Legrand, Crabtree...etc. All these brands are expensive compared to the mass selling brands like GM, Roma, Lisha, Cona....etc. But they all come with Silver/Gold coated terminals, hence no rusting due to moisture or water drops. They are more reliable and long lasting. They've replacement warranties from 5 years onwards upto lifelong.
