Need help in redesigning ceiling height of carpark area

Hi

My engg wanted carpark hieght at 8ft first(itz the entrance to my house) and later wanted to change it to 7...now the issue is we got a sump in the carpark area with 2ft high from road level..as the ceilinglevel is reduced ,engg suggests me to break the sump..which i feel waste
of money..is there a way i can design the entrancenow (willsloping the area work)..

Attach some plan or photographs to get suggestions from members.Unless you show graphically its very difficult to under the situation.
