Hi,

I plan to start construction of my duplex house on a 30x40 site soon. Met an architect today in this regard. He informed that from 2 weeks now, BDA is collecting road cutting charges along with the plan approval charge (this was done separately earlier). Anyone has been a "Victim" of this change yet? In a way, this is good. You won't have the hassles of doing the running around twice (and not to mention, paying bribe twice!).

yes...this change is there in place from last one month or so....as you said, its a blessing as you dont need to run behind them later for digging permission...

BBMP has some calculation based on Road width, Rs.1500 per Meter

Can anyone please let me know the website where i can submit plan online and the documents needed to submit at BBMP office?

yes i have gone thorugh the procedure eng will visit the site n take measurement for water n electricity n he will give the details

for 30*40 site i paid 20k for road cutting

Can you clarify, Is this procedure only for BDA layout. Recently i took plan approval for house construction in BBMP area, but concerned BBMP official has not told or informed me.
