Can someone share the bar bending and centring material(steel & wood sheets) current rates for lintel or how they r charged..
any reliable contractor for barbending & fixing centring for lintel as well roof

Barbending:7000 per ton
centring..21.50 per sqft for lintel

Depends on the size of project for smaller size construction it will be higher,avg cost for 10000 sq ft of construction would be around 4000 -5000 per ton for bar bending
and centering its around 20 -25..

i am building a 5th floor of 3300sft roof, so what could be the steel centering charges with jackride per sft basis. what could be the best rate? and what is the range please. if anyone knows of a reliable centering gang please let me know. i have heard rates like rs. 22/sft ...rs. 25/sft etc.

In my case, the centring guy is asking for 23 per sq.ft for second floor roof centring.
There is a chain-link staircase for which he is charging Rs.500 per step separately.
This part of the charge is beyond my understanding capacity.

Second floor @ 23/ SFT is a good price.
Labour charges for Chain Steps are 1000/ SFT, this includes the centring + bar bending charges too. Since the chain links are very common, the prices are at a premium.
Normally for the conventional centring, the price escalates from 2nd floor onwards by 2 Rs/ SFT.

What would be the centring charges/ SFT for side walls in the sump & also the sump roof???

I negotiated for 10,000RS labour for building a sump of 6000lts where he asked for 12000rs. It included building sidewalls and roof.

Is the sidewall RCC???? if yes, this is the best price you have negotiated..if it is a brick side well, you still have paid more!!
