Porotherm clay blocks

Hi
I am planning to use Porotherm clay blocks in the outerperiphery. Can some one please guide me on
+ what are the problems in using porotherm
+ when I compared porotherm to locally made hollow clayblocks - i found the local blocks to be inconsistent in shape, size . any observations
+ key benefit from porotherm is that i will not have to paint the exterior - time and cost saving (and i like the brick color). are these expectations real
+ any alternatives to porotherm clay blocks
+ i have heard requirement of special skills for laying porotherm - but when I checked with a friend, he said it is like any other hollow clay block. he didn't find any difference. any feedback
thanks in advance
